Subgeo will exploit the instrumental facilites of the University of Bari and National research council (IRPI and IMAA) .
The geophysical instrumentation provided by the CNR-IMAA and available for the project includes:
- Multi-channel georesistivimeters with interelectrode spacing ranging from 5 to 20 meters, enabling Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) surveys with exploration depths of up to approximately 200 meters.
- Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems equipped with antennas covering a wide frequency range (15 to 400 MHz), suitable for shallow to intermediate subsurface investigations.
- Multi-frequency electromagnetometers for efficient mapping of subsurface conductivity variations.
- Multiparameter probes for measuring pH, temperature, and electrical conductivity in water samples.
- GNSS antenna systems to support high-precision topographic and geospatial data acquisition.
